Hot Buttered Rum

Add 2 Cups Water, 1 Cup Maple Syrup, ¾ Cup Demerara Rum, ½ Cup Salted Butter, ⅔ Cup Brown Sugar, ½ Tsp Ground Nutmeg, ½ Tsp Ground Cinnamon, ⅛ Tsp Ground Cloves, and ⅛ Tsp Table Salt to a crock pot. Heat the mixture on low until the liquid is hot, then serve.
